Voting is underway at Odododiodio Constituency, with delegates casting their ballots at the Jamestown Police Station as the New Patriotic Party (NPP) conducts its presidential primary to elect a flagbearer for the 2028 general elections.
A total of 1,314 delegates are expected to vote in the constituency, with the exercise taking place across two designated voting centres. EIB Election Hub reports that the process has begun smoothly, with accredited delegates arriving to participate.
The nationwide primary, taking place today, is a key milestone in the NPP’s preparations toward the next general elections.
Five aspirants are contesting the race: Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Kennedy Agyapong, Dr. Bryan Acheampong, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, and Kwabena Agyapong.

Results from Odododiodio, along with those from other constituencies across the country, are expected later today after the close of polls and collation of ballots.
