Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has emerged the clear frontrunner in the New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential primaries in the Western and Western North regions, winning in every constituency where results have been declared.

The former Vice President outperformed all other aspirants, including Kennedy Agyapong, Dr. Bryan Acheampong, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, and Kwabena Agyepong, consolidating his lead ahead of the national flagbearer contest.

Key results from the regions show:

  • Tarkwa Nsuaem: Bawumia 967, Ken 184, Bryan 55
