He accused the former government official of making up excuses to dodge accountability.
“And that is why their Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta has decided to abscond from the jurisdiction of our country under dubious, unbelievable and pathetic circumstances where is made an attempt to use health as a ruse to evade justice,” he said on the show.
He noted that the government was exploring “every legal avenue” to return Mr. Ofori-Atta to the country to face the law.
Mr. Suhuyini explained that the public will not take the fight for accountability will not sit well with the public if the embattled former Minister of Finance is not made to answer for the crimes in which he has been implicated.
He claimed that even though the entire Akufo-Addo – Bawumia led administration were questionable on corruption-relatable matters, certain individuals were the “epitome” of the scandals.
