Leading Pan African bank, Ecobank, has teamed up with the prestigious Forbes Woman Africa magazine to launch a 12-part series celebrating the achievement of exceptional women in business.
The program, “Against All Odds” seeks to tell the story of inspirational powerhouse women who have defied all odds to achieve remarkable success in their respective fields of business.
Following the success of its sister magazine’s My Worst Day Program, Against All Odds will also draw from the quality journalistic skills of the prestigious Forbes Woman Africa magazine which for the past three years has persistently celebrated women who have shattered the glass ceiling and made a significant impact on the African continent.
Against All Odds is created by the Forbes Woman Africa Editor, Renuka Methil who has grown the publication to be one of the top tier brands on the continent. It will be anchored by the Forbes West Africa correspondent, Peace Hyde with a planned airing date on the CNBC Africa platform on DSTV channel 410 in April.
Backed by Ecobank, the show will shortlist a select pick of women from across the continent who are trailblazers in business to inspire a younger generation of women to be bold and break boundaries in order to contribute positively to the growing narrative of women who are moving the African continent forward.
