Rana Motors is proudly commemorating 30 remarkable years of its flagship compact SUV, the KIA SPORTAGE, by unveiling a prestigious 30th Anniversary Special Edition in the Ghanaian market. Since its introduction in 1994, the SPORTAGE has achieved phenomenal success, selling over seven million units globally across generations, making it Kia’s best-selling model worldwide since 2015.

For three decades, the SPORTAGE has upheld a legacy of cutting-edge safety, exceptional performance, and innovative design, revolutionizing the automotive industry. The 30th Anniversary edition celebrates this illustrious heritage while showcasing Kia’s vision for the future, blending tradition with modernity.

Delivering the anniversary address, Chief Operating Officer Kassem Odaymat emphasized that the SPORTAGE embodies a perfect blend of luxury and rugged reliability, synonymous with dependability and innovation. “The SPORTAGE has consistently set the standard for compact SUVs, exceeding customer expectations. To mark three decades of outstanding success, Kia has equipped a new special edition of the 2024 SPORTAGE with enhanced specification, focusing on convenience and safety while further elevating the model’s considerable luxury and design appeal”, he stated.

Car Review Expert Eddie Poku took SPORTAGE enthusiasts through the evolution from the first generation to the current fifth generation, underscoring that across generations, the SPORTAGE has consistently prioritized modern technology, efficiency, and value for money as its hallmark. “The SPORTAGE’s longevity is a testament to Kia’s commitment to quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction,” Eddie, noted.

Some Kia SPORTAGE enthusiasts and customers shared their experiences with the media. Alex Kuntah, Sales Manager at Rana Motors, praised the SPORTAGE’s impressive performance, reliability, and value, while Poem van Ladewijk, a satisfied customer  and proud owner of both Generation 3 and the limited edition Sportage  endorsed the model for its reliability, comfort and style.  Another proud multiple owner Mr. Naresh of Gokals congratulated Rana Motors on this momentous occasion of celebrating a wonderful Kia model. He presently owns both the 4th Generation and the latest Sportage model.

Notably, only 30 Limited Edition units of the SPORTAGE @ 30 are available, with five already sold to customers who received special packages, commemorating this milestone. This exclusive offer is a tribute to the SPORTAGE’s enduring legacy and a celebration of its continued success.
