Rising Ghanaian artist Jubed delivers a bold musical statement with the release of his 5-track
EP, From the Soil (FTS) — a project deeply rooted in his African heritage, personal journey, and
creative evolution.

The EP follows the massive success of his breakout single “Ruwa”, which
captured hearts across the continent and established Jubed as a compelling new voice in the
Afro-fusion scene.
“Ruwa”, a blend of Hausa melodies and Amapiano rhythms, gained major traction online and on
radio, quickly becoming a street anthem and placing Jubed on the radar of tastemakers and
fans alike. The track’s raw energy and cultural pride set the tone for what has become an
emotionally rich and rhythmically bold body of work.
Speaking on the inspiration behind From the Soil, Jubed shares: “This project is a reflection of where I’m from — the rawness, the pain, the joy, the beauty. I wanted to make something that felt rooted but still fresh. ‘From the Soil’ is my way of honoring my beginnings, my culture, and the journey I’ve taken to find my voice. Every beat, every lyric carries something personal, something African, something real.”

The EP opens with “Abena” featuring the soulful Kojo Blak, a melodic love story layered with
highlife and Amapiano textures. “Jo!” follows — a high-energy anthem whose title means dance
in the Ga language — celebrating rhythm, joy, and the vibrant pulse of Accra.
Track three is the acclaimed “Ruwa”, while “Gabaya” continues Jubed’s signature fusion of
tradition and trend. The project closes on a high note with a stunning remix of “Kilode” featuring
Nigerian star Seyi Shay, bringing a cross-border synergy that reflects Jubed’s pan-African
outlook.

All songs on From the Soil were produced by Kizzy and Egar Boi, and mixed & mastered by
Authentic Mix, whose expert touch brings clarity, warmth, and cohesion to the sonic experience.
With From the Soil, Jubed proves he’s not just an emerging artist — he’s a voice of the future,
shaped by the past and rooted in the richness of African culture.
