Aya Digital Technological Hub and Strategic Alliance Network (SAN Ghana) have been commissioned to provide training for the teeming Ghanaian youth and women across the country.
The initiative is a combined efforts of Strategic Alliance Network (SAN Ghana) and Aya Digital Technology Hub which aims to empower women through skill training and community development.
SAN Ghana is a women-led not-for-profit non-governmental organization focusing on girl child education and women empowerment through skill training, community development activities.
In her address during the ceremony at Agbogbe Plaza Papafio Hills in Accra on February 8, 2023, the Executive Director for Strategic Alliance Network (SAN Ghana), Dr. Janet Tulasi stated that women have a critical role to play in realizing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to end poverty, protect the planet and promote harmony.
“SAN Ghana therefore recognizes the need to commit to targeting, the right persons at the right time with the right resources to give them an edge to maximize their skills within their entrepreneurial space.
“We equally find it necessary to partner relevant stakeholders like AYA Digital Technology who we believe will offer and equip the youth particularly the women with the trendiest skills to make them employable and unearth entrepreneurial talents in those who go through training at the hub,” she added.
On her part the Chief Executive Officer for AYA Digital Technology Hub, Adwoa Amoako stated that AYA Digital Technology is commissioned to open doors of possibilities for the youth through digital technology.
“We seek to train young people especially women in digital skills, web development, data science and analytics, digital marketing and many more.
“It is no secret that the youth constitute the active working population of every country and our dear nation, Ghana is no exception. Indeed, the youth represent the intellectual firepower of many countries that design and implement sound policies and projects. We in Ghana would have to double up our efforts to be part of the global chain,” madam Amoako stated.
