Vivo Energy Ghana, a member of the Ghana Club 100, has commissioned its multipurpose Shell service station in Haatso.

The plush Haatso Shell service station includes a KFC drive-through outlet (a fast food restaurant chain that specialises in fried chicken), a pharmacy, a grooming outlet and ATM farms, among other facilities.

At the official opening of the site the Vivo Energy Executive Vice President for West Africa Region, Mr. Bernard Le Goff, said: “For more than 100 years, the word ‘Shell’, the ‘Pecten’ emblem and the distinctive red and yellow colours have stood not only for the quality of its products and services, but also as a very visible representation of the professionalism and values in all of its business activities.”

According to Mr. Le Goff, Vivo Energy will continue to invest in its business to ensure that its service stations are accessible, clean, efficient, customer-friendly and designed to meet and exceed customer expectations.

“The opening of Haatso Shell service station, with partners such as KFC, MBJ Pharmacy, Exotic trends, and ATM Farms, is testament to the convenience that we want to bring to our customers. These investments in expanding our service stations amply demonstrate Vivo Energy’s commitment to developing its business in Ghana and its ambition to continue to exceed the expectations of our cherished customers”, Mr. Le Goff added.

For his part the Managing Director of Vivo Energy Ghana, Mr. Ebenezer Faulkner said the commissioning of the Haatso Shell service station will provide the opportunity for its customers to relax and enjoy their favourite ‘finger-lickin’ chicken’ at KFC, whilst the trained professionals offer them the best oil servicing at the world-class Shell Oil Change+ Centre.

The Honourable Presiding Member of the Ga East Municipal Assembly, Mr Jesse Nii Noi Anum who spoke on behalf of the Member of Parliament for Dome Kwabenya Constituency, also commended Vivo Energy Ghana for the site which brings benefits to the community as well as the employment opportunities that the station provides to the youth of the area.

“We believe this Shell service station will provide employment to the youth in this community and we urge motorists to visit the facility to help grow the business and create more future opportunities for our youth”, he said.
