Former National Signals Bureau (NSB) Director General (DG) Kwabena Adu-Boahene, his wife Angela Adjei Boateng and two others have pleaded not guilty to criminal charges including stealing.
The charges are in connection with alleged misappropriation of some $7 million state funds for the procuring a cyber defence system for the Republic.
The couple together with Mildred Donkor, a former bank’s relationship officer for BNC and Advantage Solutions Limited, a company have been slapped with a combined 11 counts.
The Counts which culminated into seven main charges are – four counts of stealing, defrauding by false pretense, willfully causing financial loss, using public office for profit, collaboration to commit crime (the wife), obtaining public property by false statements, money laundering and conspiracy to commit money laundering.
