The Sub-editor of Graphic Communication Group-Ghana, Timothy Gobah has been appointed Honorary Head of Protocol Department, Africa Development Council (ADC).
“The Governing Board of the Africa Development Council (ADC) is pleased to inform you that, you have been appointed, with immediate effect, Honorary Head of Protocols Department, Africa Development Council, responsible for Diplomatic Missions, Treaties, International Strategy, Sovereignty, Security, Membership and Public Relations Affairs of Africa Development Council.
“Your responsibilities are to report directly to the President of ADC, while leading the aforementioned Department. The Protocols Department shall see to the projection of ADC to the International Community, which include Diplomatic Missions, Treaties, International Trade, Business negotiations, UN & AU Membership, as well as other African sub-regional Blocs, affiliates such as EU, etc., grant proposals, and other sustainability ventures. The Protocols Department shall connect ADC to the outer world through its Public Relations mechanism to ensure the survival and visibility of ADC, using internal expertise,” President- ADC, Ing. Dr. Bright J. A. Y. Sogbey added in a letter to Mr. Gobah.

He is responsible for Diplomatic Missions, Treaties and International Liaison, of the Africa Development Council.
After a long search for the Continental Honorary Portfolio, thus, a Search Team of the ADC, had to comb through specifically 6 African Nations, namely Ghana, Ethiopia, South Africa, Morocco, The Gambia & Cameroon to arrive at the personality selected and appointed.
Timothy Gobah, a Journalist of International Repute, is a Sub-Editor with the Daily Graphic of Ghana.
Meanwhile, the ADC led by its President, Ing. Dr. Bright Atsu Sogbey, had signed a Memorandum of Understanding with a Russian entity, Centre for Additional Professional Education (Alpha Dialogue), to promote Media – Academic Journalism, to ensure proper Academia- Industry Knowledge Flow, that can fuel the quest for rapid industrialization on the continent, Africa.
