Pastor and bestselling author Sarah Jakes Roberts has revealed that the inspiration behind her globally recognized movement, Woman Evolve, came from a fresh perspective on the biblical story of Eve – not her failure, but her redemption.
Speaking on Starr Chat with Bola Ray on Thursday, May 29, 2025, on Starr 103.5FM, Sarah explained how God led her to revisit Eve’s narrative, not through the lens of shame, but through the hope of restoration.
“Woman Evolve was born from Eve’s redemption,” she said. “For so long, we’ve looked at Eve as the woman who got it wrong – but what if we see her as the woman who had the courage to move forward after falling?”
The interview, which featured both Sarah and her husband, Pastor Touré Roberts, delved into the heart of their ministry, marriage, and message. Sarah spoke passionately about how Woman Evolve has become a safe space for women around the world to rediscover their identity, purpose, and power – beyond past mistakes.
“I believe women are ready to evolve,” she added. “We’re not just recovering; we’re rewriting the story – with grace, with truth, and with strength.”
