The camp of Great Olympics has been divided as one set of players train with Godwin Attram while the other set trains with newly appointed coach Tom Strand at Prampram, Starr Sports has gathered.
Fifteen players of Attram’s academy are currently training with him at the Fire Service Park which excludes the senior ones like Dan Quaye, Osei Boateng and others.
Early this week, Attram had threatened management of the club of resignation if they employ any coach for the team, but management called his bluff and officially appointed Tom Strand as the head coach on Tuesday.
The action has divided the support front of the club with some supporters threatening to beat owners of Metro TV who also in charge of the team if they present a team at Dansoman coming Sunday.
It is unclear which set of team will travail upon the other as the club prepares to meet Liberty Professionals in week 12 of the Ghana Premier League.
