The Founder and Chief Executive Officer of COA Research and Manufacturing Company Limited, Professor Samuel Ato Duncan has relaunched COA Mixture.

The relaunch had the support of the Ministers of Health, Kweku Agyeman-Manu and Trade and Industry Minister, Alan Kyeremanten respectively.

The event held in Alisa Hotel in Accra on Wednesday May 25, 2022 had players in herbal medicine as well as stakeholders in the health sector in attendance.

In his address the Minister of Health, Kweku Agyeman-Manu who was represented by the Deputy Minister commended the excellent reviews Dr. Duncan gave to the COA Mixture.

According to the Minister, Dr. Duncan had worked closely with the Noguchi Memorial Institute of Medical Research, the Center for Plant Medicine Research at Mampong and Food Research Institute among others to get out with the COA Mixture.

“We must all applaud companies like the COA Research and Manufacturing Company, for their pivotal role in enhancing plant medicine towards global acceptability.

“I have keenly followed the growth of this company over the years. The commitment of Professor Ato Duncan to promoting plant medicine is worth emulating by all. He has demonstrated this commitment in many forms, including providing support to GHAFTRAM, TAMD and other institutions in the plant medicine sector,” the Minister disclosed.

On his part, Professor Ato Duncan disclosed that Ghana will soon benefit from an annual 32 billion dollars from his yet to be released project.

According to him, he has acquired acres of land in the Ashanti Region for large production in achieving the dream of bringing huge revenue to the country.

He also donated 1000 Ghana cedis to assist smaller herbal companies in the country who are unable to require documentation to produce.

Professor Duncan also named His Royal Majesty Otumfuo Osi Tutu II as the patron for COA Mixture.

“We need people to push innovation and Otumfuo Osi Tutu II happens to be the best for COA Mixture and we know with his support COA will go far,” he added.
