The Ghana Police Service has arrested four suspects in connection with a shooting incident that occurred at the Iron City office in the Awutu Senya East Constituency, Kasoa, in the Central Region, which led to the death of one person and the injury of another.
According to the Police, the suspects are Awudu Yakubum, Kwabena Essah, Hakeem Bawa, and Issaka Mashual.
“One AK47 rifle with 69 rounds of ammunition has been retrieved from the suspects”, the police narrated in a statement.
The Police administration further disclosed that the injured victim is currently receiving medical care, while the body of the deceased is taken to the morgue for preservation and autopsy.
Meanwhile, the four suspects are currently in custody assisting the Police investigation.
