The Students Loan Trust Fund (SLTF) has issued an alert over the unauthorized use of its branding on a billboard advertising the popular “No-Fees-Stress” policy.
In a statement signed by Dr. Saajida Shiraz, Chief Executive Officer of the Students Loan Trust Fund and released on Wednesday, July 31, 2025, the Fund cautioned against the unapproved use of its logo and that of the Ministry of Education for promotional purposes related to the policy. While acknowledging the positive public sentiment around the initiative, SLTF made it clear that such unauthorized actions are not condoned.
“Whilst we appreciate the public’s association with the flagship policy and its phenomenal impact on the lives of students and families, we wish to caution against the unauthorized usage of our logo and that of the Ministry of Education for such promotional activities,” the release read.
SLTF indicated its openness to formal partnerships aimed at strengthening support for tertiary students. It also encouraged individuals or groups interested in supporting their mission to engage formally through the Fund’s Corporate Communications Directorate.
“We remain committed to service,” the statement added, reaffirming SLTF’s dedication to providing timely financial aid to students.
