Member of Parliament for Abetifi, Dr. Bryan Acheampong, has emerged as the fastest-rising candidate in the closing days of polling ahead of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential primary, according to Global InfoAnalytics.
Speaking on Morning Starr with Naa Dedei Tettey, Executive Director Mussa Dankwah said the most notable shifts in polling data were recorded in the last five days.
“The biggest changes we’ve seen in the poll happened in the last five days,” he said. “From Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.”
He pointed to favorability ratings as a key indicator of the trend.
“In the last survey released on Friday, Bawumia is on 93 percent,” he said. “Ken on 85 percent. Bryan on 86 percent.”
Bryan Acheampong’s growth, however, has been consistent week after week.
“In the last week, Bryan goes from 86.9 to 89.1,” Mr. Dankwah revealed. “Almost 2.1 percent increase in one week.”

He noted that the data shows Acheampong is drawing support mainly from Kennedy Agyapong. “So you could see that Bryan was taking his votes from Ken,” he added.
The NPP presidential primaries, scheduled for January 31, 2026, were approved by the National Executive Committee and National Council to allow sufficient time for campaigning and internal coordination ahead of the 2028 general elections.
All aspirants have signed a peace pact, committing themselves to unity and mutual respect as the party prepares to select its flagbearer.
