Ghana’s Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Dr. Dominic Akuritinga Ayine, has met with officials of the United States Department of Justice to strengthen law enforcement cooperation between the two countries.
A statement from the US Department of Justice said the meeting was held today and it reaffirmed both countries’ shared commitment to fight fraud, cybercrime, and transnational organized crime.
“Today, we welcomed Ghana’s AG and Minister of Justice, Dr. Dominic Akuritinga Ayine, reaffirming our shared commitment to fight fraud, cybercrime, and transnational organized crime. Strong bilateral law enforcement relationships make America and our allies safer, stronger, and more prosperous.”

Officials say the talks are expected to lead to closer collaboration on investigations, intelligence sharing, and capacity building for Ghana’s security agencies.
