A member of the Council State Eunice Jacqueline Buah and Chief Executive Officer of LaBianca Company Limited and Awo Frozen Foods is alleged to have ordered the arrest of a husband and his wife over an employment impasse.
Davies Ninson, former employee of LaBianca Company Limited and Wife were arrested in their home in Pokuase, a suburb of Accra Thursday Morning by some five armed men suspected to be Police Officers in mufti.
StarrFMonline.com sources say the armed men attacked Davies and threatened to harm him if he resisted arrest. Davies and his wife confirmed to Starrfmonline.com that the persons who effected their arrest indicated to them that they are taking them to the Tema Regional Police Command for interrogation.
Lawyer for the former employee says his client resigned from the employ of LaBianca Company Limited on the of September 16, 2017 but his former employer claims that he received some monies on 20th of that same month from the former Minister of State, E.T Mensah which belongs to the company.
The lawyer confirmed that his client has denied taking any money stating that the last time he received money from Mr. E.T Mensah was on June 9, 2017 and that he duly paid the said monies to the company’s account before resigning.
Owner of the company told StarrFMonline.com her management is handling the matter the best way possible.
The matter is currently at the Tema regional police headquarters.
