The National Chairman for the National Democratic Congress(NDC), Asiedu Nketiah has cautioned Ghanaians especially party supporters to be cautious of the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) “skirt and blouse” campaign strategy.
In Asiedu Nketiah’s address at the NDC’s final rally at the Zurak Park in Madina, Asiedu Nketiah urged party supporters to stand firm and united as they headed to the polls.
He stressed the need for a decisive vote for both NDC presidential and parliamentary candidates, warning against any attempts to divide the party’s support.
“I want to urge you; all of a sudden the NPP have found a reason to campaign for John Mahama and campaign for our parliamentary candidate. Tell them that we have seen through all their tricks. President Mahama is going back into office with a solid majority in Parliament. We are not going to fall for the tricks of the skirt and blouse people. We are voting for President Mahama and voting for our parliamentary candidate. I am standing here and have worked with the 276 parliamentary candidates of this party across the country. I am convinced that we are returning to office with a very strong majority in Parliament,” the chairman remarked.
