A 23-year-old man has died and six others are in critical condition following multiple accidents on Easter Monday evening along the Gomoa Fetteh Beach road in the Central Region.
The fatal crash occurred when a motorcycle reportedly collided with a Urvan trotro near Hope Village Hospital. The rider died instantly.
According to the trotro driver, Seth Kpeye, the vehicle (registration GN 4754-19) was returning from the beach when the motorbike, carrying two people, lost control and crashed into it.

In a separate but related incident along the same stretch, six passengers sustained serious injuries after a series of crashes as they made their way to the beach.
Police swiftly responded to the scene, and the injured were rushed to nearby health facilities for treatment.
The body of the deceased has been deposited at the mortuary for preservation and autopsy, while investigations have been launched at the Gomoa Fetteh Police Station to determine the exact cause of the incidents.
