Western and Central regions’ leading urban radio dial, Empire 102.7 FM in Takoradi with the support from its sister mass media platform, Radio 360, this Easter period feted tonnes of families to another successful edition of the Empire Family Picnic.
The event has become a regular must-attend event in the Sekondi Takoradi metropolis that affords various families to bond and have fun.
Patrons who were mostly kids and families had the best of exciting moments at the forecourt of the Takoradi Mall.
Families and Friends from all walks of life were feted to a wide range of drinks and food as well as a wide array of fun games such as dancing competition, bouncy castles, face paintings, table tennis to name a few.
Many patrons were privileged to have walked away with exciting prizes from some of the leading sponsors like Pomasidor.
Various patrons owning vehicles also benefitted from free diagnostics from Totachi Ghana. Other sponsors like Telecel Ghana, ADB bank, PMMC Jewelry, Promasidor, and JustMax travel and tours, also supported the event massively.
The Empire Family Picnic also provided vendors with the opportunity to sell extensively, Mama Pee, a food vendor, was by herself with excitement.
“It has been worth it attending the event as I was able to make some good sales for Easter and I am a regular patron at this event so will entreat others to always take advantage to participate”, she delightfully expressed.
Another clothing vendor, Gye Nyame Fabrics, at the event, showed how the event has exposed her business to more customers, “..it is a worthwhile venture and all must cash in to have a broader appeal of clients”, she stated.
Some patrons were enthused with the event.
” I don’t miss this event with my family as often I get so busy that this happens to give me the ight opportunity to come out and attend it with my family. We wish Empire fm will organize it as often as possible and let it last deep into the night as well, ” a patron, Julie Aguiar stated.
