French Sports Wear giants Decathlon Ghana is bent in developing lesser known Sports to be attractive according to its Chief Executive Officer, Kwesi Tabury.
The Decathlon Company was launched over the weekend, which saw hoards of dignitaries gracing the occasions with three time Africa footballer Abedi Pele in attendant.
Apart from football most disciplines have over the years have struggled in getting the needed equipment for their athletes but this time round Kwesi Tabury says this will be a thing of the past.
“We know most Ghanaians love football and we have football equipment in the store, but we believe we can also use our shop to make other lesser sports attractive by making all the equipment available in the market.
“We believe we can even introduce new sports to Ghanaian. We have many event outlined to engage the youth in the lesser known sports”, he told the press.
