The Member of Parliament (MP) for Sissala West, Muhammed Sukparu, has described the New Patriotic Party (NPP) as “destroyers,” claiming Ghanaians have now come to this realisation following the return of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to power.
Speaking on GhOne TV’s Morning Show, GhToday, on Tuesday, April 6, 2026, the NDC lawmaker said the opposition party’s refusal to acknowledge the current government’s achievements is damaging its credibility.
“Ghanaians have realised that NPP are destroyers,” Sukparu stated.
The MP further expressed surprise at the NPP’s reluctance to admit that the NDC is delivering better governance, arguing that this stance is making the opposition less attractive to the Ghanaian electorate.
“NPP will be taken seriously if they admit that things have improved,” he said.
Sukparu further challenged the NPP to appreciate the work of the Mahama administration, declaring: “only a witch or wizards would choose not to appreciate the good work this NDC government is doing.”
