Following the recent elections, the government has initiated a nationwide tour aimed at reconnecting with grassroots communities and addressing concerns raised during the election period. The tour, which began in the Upper East Region and is currently underway in the Upper West, is part of an effort to bridge the gap between policymakers and local populations and foster a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by citizens.
The Deputy Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), who also doubles as the Director of Operations at the Presidency, Mustapha Foyo Gbande, alongside the National Organizer of the NDC, Joseph Yamin, stated that listening to the needs of everyday people ensures that the government remains accountable to the communities it serves.
During the tour, they engaged in town hall meetings, visited local businesses, and met with community leaders to discuss priorities for the future and ensure that the voices of all citizens are heard.
This initiative is expected to be a cornerstone of the government’s strategy for building stronger relationships with communities, fostering trust, and delivering on promises made during the election campaign.

While many of us are seeking placements, it is important that we pursue these opportunities with the right timing and requests.”
