Private legal practitioner, Lawyer Kobby Amoah, has reacted to a video circulating online, which shows former Assin Central Member of Parliament (MP), Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, describing former President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo with unprintable words.
The vociferous politician who is seeking to lead the NPP into the 2028 elections as the party’s flagbearer is seen using unprintable words to describe the former Ghanaian leader.
The comments in the video have since been condemned with opponents of the politician citing it as part of the reasons why the politician ought not be allowed to lead the NPP as flagbearer.
Reacting to contents of the video on Kasapa FM’s Morning Show, ‘Ghana Kasa’ on Thursday, October 2, 2025, aide to Kennedy Agyapong, Lawyer Kobby Amoah urged Ghanaians to disregard the video as according to him, it doesn’t represent the views of the former MP.
The video, he said, has been trimmed in a way that seeks to project the astute politician as one who has no respect for Nana Akuffo-Addo.
According to Lawyer Amoah, the said disparaging remarks were statements that were made by a known contractor about the former president.
Ken Agyapong, he said, only repeated the comments to show his disapproval of the words uttered by the contractor.
“Kennedy Agyapong made the said comments when he explained how a contractor in Kumasi never respected the NPP and Nana Addo, but was offered contracts by his government… so he was making the comments to show how the NPP still favoured people believed to be aligned to the NDC at the expense of NPP folks…,” he said.
