He revealed that he does not produce music with the anticipation of accolades. “When you produce your music, you do not expect awards or anything like that out of that?” Blessing asked. “Not at all,” Okyeame Kwame replied. “It’s not just my music. In my life, I expect very little. I want to get to a point where I expect nothing at all. I’m not there yet. But now that I expect, I expect the best and I prepare for the worst.”
