OmniBank has commissioned an ultra-modern sports complex for the Light Academy School located at Adenta. The project consists of an ultra-modern astro turf and an Olympic size swimming pool.
It is financed by OmniBank through a loan facility and it is expected to provide enabling environment for sporting events to take place.
Since its inception, OmniBank has supported various SMEs to grow through funding and capacity building programmes. Light Academy represents an example of diligent institutions that have benefited from the bank’s funding and exceptional service.
Through the bank’s assistance, the project has been successfully completed and ready for use and it is also opened to the public for use.
About Light Academy
Light Academy located within the Adenta Housing Area in Accra was founded 19 years ago (3rd August, 1998) with a foundational staff of eight and initial student population of five.
The school which offers basic education from day care to JHS was established with the aim of raising children of excellence to be models to their peers. Currently the school has a student population of 900 and staff strength of 96. Its goal is to become a leading educational Centre in the country by 2020 and beyond.
