Promasidor Ghana Limited, an African Beverage and food-products powerhouse has presented a cheque of GHc70,000.00 and GHc60,000.00 worth of their products, Cowbell milk, and Miksi, to the COVID-19 National Trust Fund to support their mandate.

The presentation is part of a total package of three hundred thousand Ghana (GHc 300,000.00) earmarked by the company to support the Government’s efforts aimed at stopping the spread of the deadly novel Coronavirus in Ghana.

At a brief ceremony held at the offices of the COVID-19 Trust Fund at point six, Jubilee House, Human Resource Manager of Promasidor Ghana, Andrew Bodom, said the food and beverage company recognizes the difficulties that have arisen as a result of the pandemic and as a corporate organization, they feel obliged to offer their support to the State in the fight against the pandemic.

He further indicated that Promasidor will remain committed to offering constant support to Government going forward in the national battle against the spread of COVID-19.

Chief Justice (Rtd) Sophia Akuffo, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of the COVID-19 National Trust Fund, after receiving the cheque donation and the products stated that the gesture of Promasidor is deeply appreciated by the fund and by extension the people of Ghana. He assured them that the fund will make available the products to the needy and vulnerable as mandated the Act 1013.

Promasidor is a food and beverage giant with a range of affordable, top-quality products in over 30 countries across Africa. Promasidor caters to over 850-million people.

The motivated, dynamic and progressive, Promasidor is a shining example of exactly how much can be achieved on this great African continent. The company was founded in 1979 by Robert Rose, and their vision is to provide affordable, top-quality products to all the people of Africa.
