Member of Parliament for North Tongu, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has said that the NPP should come to the NDC to loan a running mate because NAPO has been a national and an international disaster.
Addressing the people at a mini rally in Asawasi, Mr. Okudzeto said that NAPO is a liar and that he introduced Comprehensive Sexuality Education in Ghana. He said, “I agree with our General Secretary if he says we should loan the NPP a running mate because what the NPP calls a running mate is a national disaster and an international disaster”.
Prior to that, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, also known as NAPO, asserted that upon assuming office as Minister of Education, he discovered that the NDC, under the leadership of Okudzeto Ablakwa, had developed a curriculum that included Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) for school children.
However, Okudzeto added that “NAPO went to a UNESCO Conference to tell the people about a new curriculum that would be launched in 2019 to teach children about LGBTQ+”. HE added that “NAPO is a liar with no respect for Imams and Pastors in this community. He said I convinced the Imams in this community to teach the children in Asawasi homosexuality but in 2024, my government(NDC) will not allow any campaign of lies, defamation and any campaign of character assassination by the NPP”, Sam concluded.
