Uganda Cranes coach Moses Basena alongside his three assistants Fred Kajoba, Ibrahim Ssekagya and Mathias Lule have named the starting line up against Egypt Pharoahs for the crucial group E 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier at Mandela National Stadium.

Mamelodi Sundowns goalkeeper leads the team as captain, his third game since taking over from the retired Geoffrey Massa.

Vipers workaholic skipper Nico Wakiro Wadada starts at right back whilst Gor Mahia’s Godfrey ‘Jjajja Walu’ Walusimbi takes over the left flank.

At central defensive is the elegant Murushid Jjuuko of Simba Sports Club in Tanzania and Zambian based Isaac Isinde of Buildcon F.C.

It is a crowed and compact midfield with the likes of Khalid Aucho, Hassan Wasswa Mawanda and Joseph Ochaya.

Standard Liege’s Farouk Miya, Emmanuel Okwi and Derrick Nsibambi are the forwards with the primary task at hand to look for the goals.

The bench is rich as well with KCCA’s Benjamin Ochan and Vipers’ Ismael Watenga as Onyango’s understudies at the expense of St George’s Robert Odongkara
