Airtel Ghana’s ‘Flex’ commercial has been adjudged the ‘Best Outdoor Advert of the Year 2016’ at the Chartered Institute of Marketing Ghana (CIMG) Awards held at the State Banquet Hall.

The Chartered Institute of Marketing Ghana (CIMG) recognizes and celebrates organizations that have distinguished themselves in various marketing endeavors. The awards, which have become the industry standard and highly coveted, are also designed to create awareness of the marketing concept in business sustainability and to stimulate high professional standards and excellence among marketing professionals. Airtel Ghana’s ‘Flex’ outdoor advert award was in recognition of the company’s ability to develop an advert that was unrivalled in creativity and uniqueness.

The award also recognizes Airtel Ghana’s distinctive skill for accurately determining the needs of its customers and developing a product that clearly reverberates with them.

Part of the citation read “Coupled with an ambition to lead and own the Data space in Ghana, you brought in this new product (FLEX) which is meant to provide a bouquet of services and has made data usage enjoyable. Your ability to use powerful visuals and graphics to gain the attention of your target audience is heartwarming and has won over your assessors.

FLEX offers customers free access to social media platforms such as Whatsapp, Facebook, Hangout, Google Plus, Google Play, YouTube among others. Customers also enjoy free access to Gmail and a guaranteed 10% cash back for every cedi they spend on FLEX bundles. Customers have the flexibility to choose between daily, weekly or monthly bundles by simply dialing *125# and choosing FLEX from the menu to enjoy these amazing offers.

Speaking to this latest award, Rosy Fynn, Airtel Ghana’s Marketing Director said “Airtel continues to lead in data and digital innovation, providing unmatched product and services to delight our customers. We are honored to have received this award. Our dominance in the data business over the years validates our focus and commitment to excellence as a telecommunication company. Indeed there’s nothing as rewarding as FLEX out there and there’s no better time to become an Airtel customer than now. We dedicate this award to all our customers who embraced our product.”

Airtel is the telecom industry’s leader in data and digital innovation. The company has won more than 22 prestigious awards over the last two years.
