Four new envoys accredited as Ambassadors to Ghana by their respective countries have presented their letters of credence to President Akufo Addo signifying the formal commencement of their tour of duty in Ghana.

The envoys are His Excellency Mohammed Abdullah Al-Khalidi, Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to Ghana, Her Excellency Mrs. Joana Tarnawska, Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to Ghana, His Excellency Michael Wimmer, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium to Ghana and His Excellency Wendell Vincent Carlton De Landro, High Commissioner of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago to Ghana.

Akufo-Addo in his address to all the envoys wished them a successful tour of duty in the Republic of Ghana.

He said all the officials of the Presidency and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration are readily available to assist them in order to make their tour of duty a successful one.

All four Envoys in their remarks after presenting their credentials emphasized that their respective countries are looking forward to strengthening relations with Ghana in the coming years.

They further noted that Ghana has won the bid to host the international secretariat of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), marks the beginning of great prospects of increased trade activity between Ghana and her fellow African States.

Their respective countries the envoys noted will be positioning themselves to fully participate in this new endeavour.
