World’s leading cognac brand Martell as part of its House of Martell Entertainment initiative ‘Home by Martell’ will have Ghanaian rapper Manifest host the first-ever edition to be held in Ghana this Saturday.
The event which has taken place in cities like California, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Lagos, Kuala Lumpur and hosted by Grammy-nominated singer Jhené Aiko and hip hop artists, Wale and Quavo will be held at the French ambassador’s residence in Accra.
Speaking on The Zone with Jeremie, brand ambassador for Martel Joseph Baffour-Diawuoh explained that the motive of the party was to drive cultural relevance in the luxury space.
He said “as you rightly said, it’s a platform that we rolling out globally, and then wave done it in Atlanta, California, Lagos and soon to be in Jo’burg and Saturday it’s gonna be in Ghana.”
He explained “it’s a platform where we basically drive cultural relevance in the luxury space. And for us it’s very important that we work with people who actually represent the ethos of the brand, who are authentic, who are audacious, and are very keen to making their statement. And for us we could not look no further than to partner the godmc. It’s just a platform where we bring together music, food and having people interact with the brand Martell.”
According to him “Martell is the most prestigious and luxurious cognac in the world. I think that is something, any people are very much aware of. For us we actually, when you talk about luxury brands, luxury cognac we basically sell much more than any other house. When you are in the prestige category For us, Ghana is one of the markets that we are actually quite new in. We are the oldest, founded in 1715, at least 70 years before any other house came.”
The event will be broken into two. The first part will be an exclusive culinary experience catered by Midunu and hosted by the Martell Brand Ambassador, Joseph Baffour-Diawuoh. This will be followed by a high-energy party with several exceptional surprises to curate a truly unique experience.
