Volta Region’s finest Hotel, Agblor Lodge Beach Resort has emerged the winner of the Most Digitalised Hotel of the Year Award (Budget Category) at the just ended 5th edition of the Ghana Hotels Association Awards held at the Movenpick Ambassador Hotel in Accra.
The prestigious awards were in recognition of the proprietor of the Hotel dedication and commitment to building the hospitality industry as well as being a highly respected advocate for best practices in the tourism sector.
Speaking to the media after receiving the award, the Proprietor of the Hotel, Regent Godwin Kodzovi Ahadzi, expressed gratitude to the Almighty God, the Government, the organizers, the staff of the Hotel and their cherished Customers.
“I am very excited to see this day. I am indeed grateful to the Almighty God, the award organizers, Government, my able staff and most especially my cherished customers. I want to say a very big thank you to the owner of the Aborigines Beach Resort for his unflinching support always”, he said
Regent Kodzovi Ahadzi took the opportunity to urge customers both locally and internationally to keep visiting the award-winning hotel at Keta in the Volta Region at their leisure for comfort and security in Ghana and Africa.

This year’s Ghana Hotels Association Awards organized by the Ghana Hotels Association was on the theme “Resilience” saw lots of industry players including Deputy Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture, Mark Okraku Mantey coming together to synergies and pull resources from each other and also promoting a high level of ethics within the sector and management to high standards.
Regent Godwin Kodzovi Ahadzi, the founder of Agblor Lodge was a professional teacher and a banker (Barclays Bank for 25years and the Bank of Ghana for 10 years).
Specializing in the rehabilitation of distressed rural banks, he is helping Keta together with other Hoteliers to regain its past glory through promotion of Tourism thereby creating jobs for the generality of the people in and outside the Keta Municipality.
The mission of the Agblor Lodge is to be a leader in the hospitality industry, especially, beachfront development.
In November 2021 it won the Best Beach Resort of the Year in the Volta Region Award, organized by the GHA, Volta Region Branch.
