Awarding-winning video Jockey, DJ Xpliph born Ralph Osei Duah, has been nominated as DJ of the Year at the 2022 3Music awards.
The Five-time Video DJ of the year winner at the Ghana DJ Awards is in the same category as DJ Vyrusky, DJ Mingle and Mr Shark.
The RythmzLive Video Jockey who also doubles as an artiste DJ won the Best Video Jockey at the Rush Ghana DJ Awards for the third time in a row having won it in 2015/ 2016 and has released three mixtapes in previous years.
Dj Xpliph started off playing campus events then eventually found himself as a regular at Aphrodisiac Night Club. He started radio in 2010 at Vibe FM with a weekly Saturday night show; Party Mix with Summ.
In 2011, DJ Xpliph started mixing videos and moved to Media GH in 2012 where he worked at Live FM & Adinkra FM and later moved to GHOneTV.
After working with GHOne TV as a VJ on RythmzLive Show in 2013, he earned a nomination in the Best Video Jockey category in 2014 but picked up the award the following year having lost out to Billi Ocean.
Xpliph has also worked as an artist DJ for Joey B, Double, Lil Shaker, Article Wan and currently Mr Drew
Dj Xpliph hosts the VJmix edition of Rythmzlive every Tuesday from 3 pm-4 pm on GhOne Tv.
Additionally, he is on air on Starr Fm with Sheldon The Turn Up every Friday and Saturday at 8 pm. Xpliph also produces Unwind and Rythmzlive on GhOne Tv.
The organisers of the annual 3Music Awards in Ghana on Friday (Feb. 11) unveiled the nominees ahead of the main event on Saturday, March 26, 2022.
The awards platform was established by 3Media Networks to recognise and celebrate outstanding musical achievements in Ghana and across Africa. This year’s 3Music Awards will honour artists and their works in over 30 categories, including the coveted Artist of the Year.
