Air travel is currently the fastest means of covering long distances however it can be quite challenging.  When the airline delays flights without just cause, misplaces your luggage, and keeps adding hidden costs to your bill, it can make the enjoyable moments in the sky stressful.

However, there are airlines with a track record of ensuring none of the above happens to its passengers. Imagine having people on standby to ensure you have a satisfactory smile on your face. Imagine having world class entertainment at your fingertips. Imagine dining from the fine artistry of some of the world’s best chefs. Imagine all these happen, as you move to your next destination. You do not have to imagine. Just look up, forty thousand feet high. Emirates.

The world’s most trusted airline, Emirates, provides heavenly treatment to passengers to over 120 destinations worldwide.

Emirates flies from Ghana seven times weekly to its hub in Dubai, connecting people and businesses to endless locations.

Cabins

Emirates offers three cabin classes to commuters to and from Ghana- first, business and economy classes. The first class cabins have private suites which give passengers a ‘home away from home’ feel in the skies. The suites are detailed to perfection to cater to the need for the passenger; be it privacy, comfort or luxury. The business class cabin has semi private seats with enough room to covert the seat into a flat bed. It is ideal for interaction due to its close seating but also has some privacy with mechanized partitions. The business class cabin offers the comfort of home with the touch of business. Economy class has great seating options ideal for individual, family and group travels. Equipped with Emirates hallmark luxury, the Economy class offers competitive prices for great value.

ICE

Information, communication, entertainment — Emirates leaves no stone unturned offering world-class entertainment. Even 40,000 feet above ground, be rest assured all the current news on ground from the world’s leading news hub, BBC will be at your fingertips. Every passenger has access to news from around the world on their personal screens at any point on the flight.

Emirates believes the sky should not be a barrier for communication. As such, Emirates has in place systems to keep passengers connected to loved ones or businesses while flying. Getting bored during a flight is hardly an option with Emirates’ collection of award winning movies, top rated television shows and music. ICE has a library of music encompassing every genre, and a wide range of podcasts for your listening pleasure. Throughout the flight, passengers can monitor the air show — a real time view of your flight, shot by cameras attached to the plane’s exterior.

Emirates Skywards

Emirates’ Frequent-Flyer Programme, Emirates Skyward is a four-tiered reward programme that allows members to redeem miles for benefits.  Emirates Skywards is in partnership with some other airlines, hotels and resorts as well as duty-free products at Dubai International Airport and Al Maktoum International Airport.

Connecting Ghana to the rest of the world

As a leading airline in the Ghanaian aviation space, Emirates operates seven weekly flights in and out of Ghana. According to Country Manager for Emirates Ghana, Catherine Wesley, Ghana is a strategically important market to Emirates with a relationship spanning back to about two decades, attracting investors.

“We are very proud of our relationship with Ghana. We have enjoyed a great working relationship with Ghana over the years as we have connected Ghana and Ghanaians with the rest of the world. We have enabled investors to come to Ghana.”

Emirates seeks to strengthen operations in the country, accessing the growth into key cities across Ghana and the sub regions.
