Board Member  for FC Samartex, Thomas Gyimah has appealed to the Government to help fix the Samreboi roads ahead of the commencement of the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League season.

Samreboi is the host community of FC Samartex who will be playing in next season’s Ghana Premier League after the club secured qualificatioin to Ghana’s top tier.

Samreboi, the host community for FC Samartex has one of the poorest road networks in the country.

The immotorable nature of the road forces has caused so many vehicular damages and crashes in times past.

Ahead of the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League season, Human Resource Manager and Board Member of Samartex Timber Company, Owners of FC Samartex Thomas Gyimah is pleading to the Government to honor its promise of fixing the Samreboi roads as it was included in the 2022 Budget.

Mr. Gyimah believes should the works on the road be completed it will open channels of development for the community and also make the Samartex Park a welcoming place for visitors.

“Reliable information reaching us tell us the Samreboi roads was included in the 2022 Budget, so we hope that very soon we’d see contractors on the road working” – Mr. Gyimah said.

“Samartex is marketing Samreboi to the whole nation and with the kind of roads we have it’s nothing to write home about. So we hope that Government works on it and finishes it before the league starts” – he added.
