Chief Executive Officer of the National Youth Authority (NYA), Osman Ayariga has assured the King of Dagbon, Yaa Naa Abubakari Mahama II, that construction work on the Youth Development Center along the Zabzugu road will resume immediately.
Speaking during a visit to the Gbewaa palace, Mr. Ayariga delivered a message from President John Dramani Mahama, reaffirming his dedication to youth development initiatives in the region.
“Your Royal Majesty, the King of the Great Dagbon Kingdom, and his elders and sub-chiefs, I greet you all. I am here today because His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, your own son, has sent all of us here to come and deliver a message to you,” he voiced.

He pointed out that the NYA is responsible for a development facility located on the road leading to Zabzugu.
“We have a facility here under your watch, which is the Youth Development Center, on your way to Zabzugu. On your right-hand side, the uncompleted stadium is under our authority,” he explained.
According to Mr. Ayariga, the president has instructed that construction works at the site resume immediately. He assured the King that all efforts would be made to ensure the project is completed.

“We want to assure you, because His Excellency John Dramani Mahama has assured us to assure you, that the work on that stadium will return with immediate effect and he will make sure he finishes it as soon as possible,” he added.
