Kosmos Innovation Center (KIC), in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation, has successfully hosted the final pitch of the 2025 AgriTech Challenge Pro, celebrating a remarkable display of innovation and entrepreneurial excellence aimed at transforming Ghana’s agricultural sector. Held from 22nd to 23rd May 2025 at the KNUST Business School in Kumasi, the event showcased cutting-edge agritech and food innovation solutions poised to address challenges in the sector and demonstrated great potential for job creation and employment opportunities for young people.
A total of 43 teams presented their business pitch decks to a panel of judges, also known as the Ideation Team, where they received constructive feedback. The participating teams delivered compelling pitches, demonstrating both the viability and impact potential of their business solutions. From tech-driven tools to sustainable farming initiatives, the range of ideas highlighted the creativity and determination of Ghana’s emerging entrepreneurs.
The winning teams will receive seed funding, mentorship opportunities, and access to KIC’s extensive network of partners as they progress to the KIC Business Incubation Program. These resources will enable them to further develop and implement groundbreaking ideas while growing and scaling up their businesses.
