Heath Goldfields Ltd. says the Supreme Court’s recent decision in its favor strengthens the company’s legal position and underscores the Ghanaian government’s commitment to transparent, fair, and accountable administration of the country’s mineral resources.
The Supreme Court, on November 18, 2025, unanimously dismissed an application filed by Future Global Resources Ltd. (FGR) and Blue Gold Bogoso Ltd., reaffirming “the legal soundness of the processes leading to Heath Goldfields’ acquisition of the Bogoso-Prestea Mine.” The ruling represents the sixth consecutive legal defeat suffered by FGR and Blue Gold since September 2024.
In response to the ruling, Heath Goldfields Ltd. stated that it remains focused on responsibly operating the Bogoso-Prestea Mine, supporting national economic development, engaging stakeholders with transparency, and investing in host communities.
