President John Dramani Mahama has declared a robust economic rebound in his emphasizing fiscal discipline and strategic reforms.
Speaking in Parliament during his 2026 State of the Nation Address, on Friday, February 27, Mahama declared, “Ghana is back, Ghana is working again,” highlighting improved fundamentals and restored investor confidence.
Mahama outlined measures that stabilized public finances, reduced debt, and revived business confidence, stressing that “we have borrowed less and spent more responsibly.”
He noted that careful planning and disciplined governance have enabled Ghana to navigate years of mismanagement and restore hope for ordinary citizens.
