Ghanaian singer and songwriter, Queen eShun, says her time in the music industry brought her not only financial benefits but also valuable relationships and lasting connections.
The artiste, born Ethel Esi Eshun, made the remarks during an appearance on Starr Showbiz with Feeling Daddy on Starr 103.5 FM on Saturday, February 28.
Responding to a question about whether she made money from music, especially after stepping away from the scene for a period, Queen eShun said, “Oh, yeah. I would say I did.”
She, however, emphasised that her gains from the industry went beyond finances. “Not just money, but relationships, connections, and all these things are treasures that you should value,” she stated.
According to her, such connections become increasingly significant over time. “Because over time, they become things that you carry for a lifetime. And you never know when they will come through for you,” she said.

Citing her appearance on the show as an example, she added, “Like today, I’m here because we have that relationship.”
Queen eShun emphasised that the relationships, connections, and open doors she gained throughout her career were just as important as any financial rewards. “So it’s not just money, but the connections, the relationships, and some great open doors. And yeah, so I would say, yeah, yeah, I did,” she affirmed.
