New Patriotic Party (NPP) Flagbearer for the 2028 elections, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has donated a total of GH₵150,000 in support of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Christ Congregation in Juansa, and the family of the late Abusuapanin Ofosu Nkansah.
During a church service held in memory of the deceased, Dr. Bawumia presented GH₵100,000 towards the construction of a new church building in honour of Abusuapanin Ofosu Nkansah.
He also donated an additional GH₵50,000 to the bereaved family.
The gesture formed part of Dr. Bawumia’s expression of solidarity and support as the family mourns the loss of their patriarch.
He extended heartfelt condolences to former NEIP Chief Executive Officer, Kofi Ofosu Nkansah and the entire family following the passing of his father.
Dr. Bawumia was accompanied by former Majority Leader Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu and other senior figures of the New Patriotic Party.
Upon his arrival at the funeral venue, Dr. Bawumia received a rousing welcome from mourners and community members, many of whom voiced confidence in his prospects for the 2028 general elections.
The donation and condolence visit underscored Dr. Bawumia’s commitment to supporting communities and families during times of bereavement.
