Ghana’s newly appointed Black Stars head coach, Carlos Queiroz, will be officially unveiled on Thursday in Accra, as the Ghana Football Association introduces the veteran manager to the Ghanaian public.
The unveiling ceremony is expected to take place at the Alisa Hotel, where Queiroz will address the media for the first time since taking charge of the senior national team.
The former Portugal, Iran and Egypt coach is expected to outline his plans for the Black Stars, his football philosophy, and his immediate priorities as Ghana prepares for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

At 73, the Portuguese tactician brings decades of coaching experience, having worked with several national teams and top clubs around the world. He previously managed:

He also served as assistant coach at Manchester United under Sir Alex Ferguson and briefly managed Real Madrid.
The Ghana Football Association believes his international experience and tactical discipline can help strengthen the Black Stars ahead of future major competitions.
Thursday’s unveiling is expected to provide the first indication of how he intends to rebuild the squad, his relationship with senior players
and the style of football supporters can expect under his leadership.
