Adam Bonaa, a renowned Security Analyst, has commended the Inspector-General of Police, Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, for his exceptional performance.
According to him, Dampare has demonstrated remarkable leadership skills, particularly in maintaining law and order during the recent general elections.
Bonaa, who has been following Dampare’s career, noted that the IGP started his tenure with vigor and power but lost momentum along the way.
Despite this, Bonaa believes that Dampare has done well, citing his ability to withstand attempts to remove him from office.
These attempts, Dr. Bonaa alleged, were made by some politicians who felt threatened by Dampare’s impartiality and commitment to justice.
“I got to know him whilst he was, you know, ACP, you know, DCOP, again under the IGP. And, you know, he’s done very well. The verdict is not even for me to pass. If you probably let’s do a non-scientific poll that bring the IGP about his performance, yes or no”.
