The Gborbu Wulomo-Shitse, the Overlord of the Gadangme State, has summoned Ghanaian rapper Medikal and his ex-wife Fella Makafui to his palace regarding their purchase of land in Nungua.
The embattled couple is expected to appear at the Gborbu Wulomo’s palace on Friday, May 24, 2024 to clarify the matter.
This invitation follows the circulation of a land document on social media, which shows Medikal and Fella Makafui as the buyers of the said land. The Gborbu Wulomo has requested that the couple bring the full documentation to verify their purchase.
The document surfaced online amidst a public disagreement between Medikal and Fella. Their dispute extends to their current residence, where both are living together. Medikal claims he solely financed the property but included Fella’s name for their daughter’s benefit. Fella, however, disputes this and has vowed to present her case in court.
The Gborbu Wulomo’s invitation aims to confirm the authenticity of their land purchase claims. Meanwhile, the couple, once known for their public displays of affection, is now facing marital turmoil and has announced that they are in the process of finalizing their divorce.
Recent conflicts have arisen over their living arrangements after Medikal asked Fella’s cousin to leave their shared residence. In response, Fella has involved the Criminal Investigation Department to probe Medikal, further intensifying their conflict.
