GH Dolphins have emerged winners of the 2025 Ghana Swimming Association President’s Cup after winning 62 medals.
Winning 37 gold, 14 silver, and 11 bronze medals, GH Dolphins emerged champions of the third edition of the competition held Saturday at the Borteyman Sports Complex.
Marlins, the 2023 champions, secured the second position with 32 medals, while GH Aquatic Masters claimed third with a total of 24 medals.
In addition, GH Dolphins took home two prestigious individual awards at the event.
Boris Ushinskii was named Best Male Swimmer after securing four gold medals, while Mercedes Abdallah earned the Best Female Swimmer award with an impressive tally of five golds and one silver.
Ghana Swimming Association President, Delphina Quaye said, “Event went as well as planned”.
“We are growing, the kids are getting more interested.
“Parents are enrolling their kids into swimming lessons and the kids are doing marvelously well. We know we have a future.”
The excitement is already building for next year’s edition, as clubs prepare to regroup and intensify the competition for medals and supremacy.
