The GHOne TV Alumni Power Games will take place tomorrow, April 11, 2026, at the El-Wak Social Center, Accra, with anticipation building ahead of a full day of sporting competition, entertainment, and alumni networking.
Organised by GHOne TV, the event will bring together alumni from various senior high schools across the country, with activities scheduled to begin at 8:00 a.m.

The Minister for Education, Haruna Iddrisu, has endorsed the initiative and is expected to serve as Special Guest of Honour. He expressed confidence that his alma mater, Tamale Senior High School, would emerge victorious.

The Minister for Sports and Recreation, Kofi Iddi Adams, has also expressed support for the Games, predicting victory for his alma mater, Bishop Herman College, when schools compete at the event.

This year’s edition is expected to feature competitive sporting activities alongside entertainment segments, including free health screening, live musical performances and interactive attractions designed to engage both participants and spectators.
Popular side attractions such as the “Jollof Challenge,” “Gari Soakings Challenge,” and “Aponkye Nkrakra with Aduanepa” are also expected to add colour and excitement to the event.
Special appearances are expected from top executives of the EIB Network, including the Chief Executive Officer, Nathan Kwabena Assisi (Bola Ray) and the Chief Operating Officer, Santokh Singh, alongside other media personalities, celebrities, and public figures.
Organisers say preparations are in top gear, with expectations of a large turnout and a vibrant atmosphere as schools, alumni groups, and supporters converge at El-Wak for one of the most anticipated youth sporting events of the year.
