Former Black Stars Coach, CK Akonnor says he is taking a break temporarily away from coaching and whilst at it , study to prepare adequately for future endeavours
C.K Akonnor has been club less after he was sacked by the Ghana football Association as Head Coach of the Black Stars for unimpressive performances.
Before his stint with the Senior National team, Akonnor had coached Hearts of Oak, Dreams Fc, Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Obuasi Ashantigold.
According to the former Wolfsburg winger, his main focus at the moment is to upgrade himself before deciding to take up any coaching offer .
“Of course, the mission and direction also has to be considered and for that matter, I first want to learn a bit more, relax and go deeper into coaching”
CK Akonnor was appointed as the Black stars Coach in January 2020, but was relieved of his post in September 2021.
