Former first lady, Lordina Mahama says despite the challenges confronted the sacrifice and hard work of Ghanaian women do not go unnoticed.
In a Mother’s Day message to Ghanaian women, Mrs. Mahama said, “My fellow Ghanaian women, as we celebrate Mother’s Day, I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude and admiration for all of you.
“In your hands, we find our feet – perfectly encapsulates the strength, resilience, and love that you bring to our dear nation,” she stated.
According to her, women are the backbone of their families, “the pillars of our communities, and the driving force behind the progress of our country. Our unwavering support, nurturing nature, and unwavering determination are the reasons why our nation continues to thrive.”
Mrs. Mahama further stated that despite the challenges women are confronted with their sacrifices and hard work do not go unnoticed.
“On this special day, let us honour and celebrate the remarkable women in our lives. From mothers to grandmothers, sisters to daughters, and all the women who make a difference every day.
“My husband, John, and I cherish and value you beyond measure. We thank you for your unwavering love, guidance, and strength. May this day be a reminder of how truly extraordinary you are.
“Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing women of Ghana.”
